One of our new mathematical ideas for 2016 is encouraging our children to explore mathematics in the world around.
This summer holiday our children were given the chance to participate in mathematical challenge 1, which asked them to look out for, photograph/draw examples of multiplication arrays in real life. We set a prize for each age group.
There were a lot of fantastic entries and Mrs Wood and Mrs Harpin had a tricky job choosing the winners for each year group. Thank you to all who entered.
Here are our Mathematical challenge 1 winners with their real life multiplication array collections.
