Special Educational Needs Provision
Alne Primary School welcomes all children and operates a policy of inclusion.
All children have equal access and opportunity to all areas of school life. The school is fully adapted to cater for a range of needs.
We are proud of the provision provided for our SEN children, which includes a variety of levels of support in class and on an individual basis.
The school has high expectations of all our pupils and strives to provide the best provision possible.
As a school we have awarded the Quality Mark for Inclusion by the Local Authority and are proud to be recognised as a Dyslexia Friendly School having been awarded the Dyslexia Quality Mark in May 2007.
Mrs Teale co-ordinates the SEN provision in school and are always available to discuss the needs of your child. We can offer advice and guidance for ways to help at home, and can explain the support being provided for your child in school.
We do offer a range of games and activities that can be borrowed from school to support your child's development at home. Please ask in school for further information .
